There are currently no onsite facilities on Acorn Holiday Park but there is a Co-op in Littleport approximately 15 minutes drive away or a Marks & Spencer quick shop at the local garage. The Lamb and Flag is a typical English pub which is only a 5 minute walk at top of the road which offers great locally sourced food either eat in or takeaway and also evening entertainment.

With villages and towns, such as Wisbech - the capital of the fens, March, Chatteris, Kings Lynn, Ely and its cathedral all less than 45 minutes away, it's also a great base location for the casual shopper and sightseer too.

A FEW COMMENTS FROM OUR VISITORS

"As one guest explains: ‘Acorn Holiday Park is a wonderful place to escape the hustle of life, for quiet time and to relax in very beautiful part of the country. This year we saw deer, geese, swans, rabbits and hares, woodpecker of both types and many more smaller birds. Our holiday home was spotless and very well appointed, lovely balcony to sit out on. My husband, the fisherman, caught lots of lovely looking fish. On two occasions he managed to capture the big ones! There are three superbly stocked lakes for fishing, grounds immaculate"

"I stayed a few nights and I haven't fished for over 40yrs and I had a fabulous time. I caught up to a 2lb carp and my hubby had a 12lb carp, one chap staying had a 25lb and a 21lb whilst we were there, so the lake is fishing well. The pub at the end of the lane does lovely food"

"We have just had a wonderful week at Acorn, I fished most days all day catching a couple of big cat fish. Our dogs also enjoyed the stay, the pub is superb with amazing food with huge servings, the sunday roast just fantastic. All in all a lovely stay clean lodge, peaceful surroundings, friendly holiday makers hope to return in the summer."
